Other Shaiva Sites

Birbhum is also blessed with a great many number of Shiva temples.  Almost in every corner of the district, numerous Shiva temples of different stature can be located.  Some of them are – Shirsha Shiv Temple of Illambazar, Suratheswara Temple of Bolpur, Japeswara Temple of Kirnahar, Dandekeswara temple of Dwadaka etc.
